SPARKS FLY FROM SWORD OF PERSEUS
It is that time of the year again for the Perseids Meteor Shower.  The Perseids Meteor Shower is the most popular meteor shower for the general populous since it occurs in the warm month of August and usually puts on a good show.  The shower generally starts around August 6 and runs through about August 18.  The peak of the shower is always on August 12.  This year there will be the light of the full moon hindering the view of the smaller meteors.  The best time to view the shower will be after 4 a.m. local time, after the moon sets and...

Ophiuchus Main Sign in Scorpio?
In more ancient skies the constellation Ophiuchus was shown as an Eagle holding a serpent, its enemy in its mouth and coming down on the scorpion with its talons about to rip it apart.  I have only read about this many years ago and have forgotten where I have seen it.  But that makes more sense for an eagle to be the main constellation for this Sign rather than a scorpion.  It would also be one of four Cherub surrounding the throne of YeHoVaH, which is in the center of the heavens.  The Eagle (above Scorpio); the Man (Aquarius); the...

A Rare Planetary Alignment
There will be an interesting alignment of the moon and seven of the nine planets orbiting the sun on June 24, 2022. Other than Earth, Pluto is the only other planet that is not in this lineup. Pluto is no longer considered a planet by most Astronomers because of its small size. Pluto is now classified as a planetoid. This type of alignment occurs about every twenty-five years. But with all seven planets involved, this event is rarer than normal. It would take me days to go through possibly thousands of years to find out how rare this particular alignment...

Important Information Concerning the Jupiter and Mars Conjunction on May 29
About every 2,250 years, the Vernal Equinox changes from one of the Twelve Signs of the Zodiac to the next Sign.  The astronomical term for this event is the Precession of the Equinox.  The last time this occurred was in 68 BCE, when the Vernal Equinox passed from the Sign Aries to the Sign Pisces.  It was considered to have passed into a new age.  This occurred relatively close astronomically speaking to the first appearing of our Messiah, Yeshua Mashiah (Jesus Christ).  The passing of the Equinoxes from Pisces to Aquarius is scheduled to occur in the late 26th century....

Close Conjunction of Jupiter and Mars in Pisces
There will be a very close conjunction of the planets Jupiter (Zedek) and Mars (Adom) between the constellations Pisces (the Two Houses of Israel) and Cetus (the Beast from Sea), in the early morning (about forty-five minutes before sunrise) on May 29. See the charts below from the May 2022 issue of Sky & Telescope, pg. 47. The chart that is below and to the left, shows the position of the Moon over a period of three days. The main reason I am using these charts out of digital astronomy magazines, is that I do not have my laptop computer...
